For the last week, one of Tasmania's most popular music events has been entertaining locals and visitors in Hobart with brilliant jazz performances, stunning locations and great vibes.
The Clarence Jazz Festival will be wrapping up this weekend, with a fabulous lineup of talent to finish the summer with a bang!
The jazz festival is in its 16th year, featuring performances in several beautiful locations including Cremorne Beach, Simmons Park, Rosny Farm and Bellerive Boardwalk.
"Where else in the world would you rather play than here, in the sunshine by the water?" Festival ambassador and saxophonist Paul Williamson told The Mercury.
This weekend there will be a number of free activities and crafts for the kids to enjoy, with all outdoor concerts free.
Beginning the day's events on Saturday is legendary UK singer Dennis Lotis, who has performed with the likes of Judy Garland, Petula Clarke and Vera Lynn.
Lotis will perform at Bellerive Boardwalk from 14:00 to 16:00, followed by fellow talented musicians Steve Young Sextet, Hobart Jazz Octet, Deluxe and Australian Army Band – Tasmania.
Sunday's events return to Bellerive Boardwalk for an afternoon jam-packed with entertainment from James Maddock Swing 4, Gadje – Gypsy Jazz, Cake Walking Babies and a festival finale from Paul Williamson Festival Allstars.
Spend the last days of summer in the sunshine at Tasmania's Clarence Jazz Festival!
