Picnic at Ross: A ‘very special’ motoring event

Shared by |tags, , , , ,

Passionate vintage car lovers and automotive enthusiasts alike will gather in the historic Tasmanian town of Ross this May for a special event showcasing hundreds of classic vehicles.

The annual Picnic at Ross will drive into Tasmania on May 19, with the midlands town the perfect backdrop for classic cars and motorbikes, from veteran to 1990.

The event is organised by the Post Vintage Car Club of Tasmania Inc, where up to 2,000 people turned out for last year's event.

Feel free to create your own picnic and bring it along, with this family-friendly event free for everyone!

If you're thinking of bringing your prized possession along, you don't have to fill out an entry form, just turn up at the Ross Football/Recreation Ground at 10:00 and you'll be ready to go.

Clubs are advised to arrive together to display as a group at this 'all weather' event.

Make sure to explore the historic gems of Ross, during your visit to the town, with the picturesque Georgian buildings and convict Ross bridge significant sights to see!

Bring the family down for classic cars, delicious food and a piece of history at the Picnic at Ross.
