On the third Sunday of each month until March next year, the Good Life Summer Markets in Huonville will provide visitors to the region with a wonderful day of shopping in the sun.

Showcasing the very best of the Huon Valley's arts, crafts and fresh produce, this is one of Tasmania's most enjoyable outdoor markets.

This is a region with a reputation for fine wine and food – along with a strong local artistic scene – making a visit here a genuine pleasure for those who like to wander, browse and get lost in the bustling atmosphere.

An initiative of the Huon Valley Council, the market was established to bring producers and craftspeople together to showcase their wares to Tasmanians and tourists alike.

Following the philosophy of 'make it, bake it, grown it', the market is likely to provide some great last-minute Christmas present ideas this Sunday (December 18).

It takes place from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm opposite Huonville Foreshore on Channel Highway and is completely free to enter, so if you are in the area any weekend it is on, it is well worth stopping by.
