Beer making and relaxation in Tasmania

Shared by |tags,

Beer enthusiasts around Australia take note – in just under two weeks Tasmania will host an event of indulgence to rival any other.

The Beer Making with Todd Mazur weekend on November 26 and 27 2011, is an opportunity to appreciate the art of beer.

How is it made? What does it take to create a unique and great tasting brew?

These questions and more will be comprehensively answered as guests join the hands-on course and build their knowledge of Australian styles, German pilsners, brown ales, pale ales, Irish stouts, porters and a number of other varieties.

Along with beer tasting participants will enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with beautiful shared cottage accommodation.

There will also be time to try your hand at fishing in one of the delightful spots at Tarraleah Village in the island state’s highland wilderness, or take in a round of golf at the picturesque local course.

A guided evening wildlife walk, cliff-top hot tubs, gym and sauna are also included in the overall cost of $320 per person plus $200 for your own brewing kit.

You will be able to build on your new-found skills as you finish the getaway with an easy-to-use kit and a 20 litre batch of beer.
